This is Sant´Ignazio in the heart of Rome. In some of the churches you’ll find master pieces of Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Raffaello.
Rome is an outdoor museum from the roman time to the renaissance. Teatro di Marcello is partly preserved and it’s amazing to stroll the city and experience the layers and aesthetic of the different time periods.
We love to stay central, especially with kids that makes life easier. This time we stayed just at Piazza Navona. In the middle of the piazza is a huge fountain made by Bernini, one of the major baroque sculptors and architects.
